Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TrueDose Technologies Ltd. ("TrueDose", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, request a pilot, or use the TrueDose verification service.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Pilot / contact form submissions: your name, work email, organization, role, and any message you send.
- Account information (for pilot participants): the details needed to set up and support your verification account.
Information from use of the service
- Uploaded scan images: photos of packaging, blisters, labels, holograms, and batch/lot codes captured during verification.
- Verification records: the verdict (Genuine / Suspect / Recalled), reasons, timestamps, and associated batch identifiers.
- Technical data: standard log data such as device/browser type and IP address, used for security and to operate the service.
2. How we use information
- To verify medicines and return a result and audit record.
- To improve our reference library and anomaly-detection models (see "Model improvement" below).
- To respond to pilot requests and provide customer support.
- To secure, monitor, and maintain the service.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and reporting obligations.
Model improvement
Verified and reported scans may be used to strengthen our packaging-recognition and anomaly-detection models. Where images are used for model improvement, we apply controls to limit exposure of identifying details that are not necessary for verification.
3. Legal basis
Where applicable data-protection law (such as the GDPR or comparable local regulation) applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service, the performance of a contract with pilot participants, and compliance with legal obligations. [Confirm governing data-protection regime per launch market.]
4. How we store and protect data
- Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Access is restricted via role-based access controls and authentication.
- We host on Amazon Web Services (AWS); images and reference data are stored in services such as Amazon S3, and verification/reporting data in managed databases (Amazon RDS).
5. Data retention
We retain verification records and scan images for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain audit trails, meet legal obligations, and improve our models, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Pilot and contact data is kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterward. [Set concrete retention periods before launch.]
6. Third parties we share with
We share data only with service providers that help us run TrueDose, under appropriate agreements:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting, storage, and database infrastructure.
- Form / email providers — to receive and respond to pilot requests.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. [Confirm transfer mechanism per market.]
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@truedose.site.
9. Children
TrueDose is a business tool for pharmacies, distributors, and regulators. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify pilot participants.
